A transformative counselling group designed for individuals seeking to address the profound impact of trauma on their well-being. Trauma can leave deep scars that affect how we perceive ourselves and interact with the world around us. This art therapy session aims to help participants externalize their traumatic experiences, determine their boundaries, and understand how trauma operates in their lives by creating visual representations. By recognizing the factors that support and weaken their trauma, individuals can embark on a path toward healing.
During the session, participants will receive psycho-education about trauma and its impacts, as well as the benefits of externalizing traumatic experiences. Each individual will be provided with the necessary art supplies to create their visual representations of trauma, offering a unique opportunity to discover and reflect on the intricate interplay between their past and their well-being.
